PT.SUMMITPLAST and PT.SHOWPLA INDO merge to become the new PT.TENMA INDONESIA.

2010

Tenma Precision(Suzhou)Co.,Ltd. is established in Suzhou City. Jiangsu Province, China.
PT.SUMMITPLAST is added as a subsidiary.

2009

Hirosaki Factory is founded to make distribution of goods more efficient.
Tacmic SP Co., Ltd. is added as a subsidiary.

2007

Tenma Vietnam Co., Ltd. is established in the Que Vo district in the suburb of Hanoi.

2006

Shanghai Tenma Second Factory becomes operational.

2005

Kasuga Seiko Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of metal molds, is added as a subsidiary.
Tenma Precision (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. is established in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China.
Tenma Precision (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is established in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China.

2004

Shenzhen Meiyang Plastic Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen City is added as a subsidiary and the company’s third base in China.

2002

Production begins of “Pop Mamboo”, a DVD case with an easy-release mechanism.

2000

Launch of the “Katapaneru”, recyclable plastic molds that can be used in construction industry.

1998

Move into injection molding of magnesium alloy.

1995

Shanghai Tenma Platech & Housewares Co., Ltd. is established, with the aim of producing and selling homeware to the Chinese market.

1992

Tenma Platech & Housewares (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. is established in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, in order to supply parts to China-based Japanese manufacturers.

1991

The company is listed in the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange to further strengthen its financial structure.
The Hachinohe Factory is established, achieving a Japan-wide distribution structure.

1988

Listed in the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Tenma (UK) Ltd. is established in Scotland, UK, as a first step to expand our business overseas.

1987

The company name is changed to Tenma Corporation with the aim of business diversification.

1985

The Shin-Shirakawa Factory is established as a production and distribution base for the Tohoku region.

1981

The Yamaguchi Factory is established as a production and distribution base for the Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions.

1973

The Shiga Factory is established in response to increased marketing channels in the Kansai area.

1967

The Noda Factory is established in response to increased demands for such large-scale industrial materials as color TVs, car parts, and beer containers.

1961

Kawaguchi Factory is established in Saitama Prefecture, in response to increased business operations amid rapid development of Japanese plastic industry. This factory was a state-of-the-art at the time.

1954

The company name is changed to Tenma Plastic Co., Ltd. with the aim of specializing in plastics, which were undergoing rapid development in Europe and America at the time.

1949

Founded as Taiyo Shoji Co., Ltd.
