Tenma Corporation Social Media Guideline

Tenma Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) complies with the Social Media Guideline and operates social networking services (hereinafter referred to as “SNS” or “social media”). The Community Guideline (“the Guideline”) applies to Tenma’s official accounts (hereinafter referred to as “the Accounts”) operated by the Company. You shall agree to the Guideline when viewing and using the Accounts.

Purposes of the Guideline

  1. To promote communication through appropriate means using social media.
  2. To be aware and responsible at all times as part of the Tenma group when using social media.

Basic approach to the use of social media

  1. We show respect to those who we communicate with and strive to attentively listen at all times.
  2. We clarify the purposes of communication and provide valuable information.
  3. We use expressions that are easy to understand.
  4. We are aware that, as features of digital tools, information on social media is immediately transmitted and cannot be completely removed.
  5. We strive to protect privacy.
  6. We strive to protect copyright.
  7. We take sufficient precautions to prevent any breach of Tenma’s confidential information.
  8. The Company does not do stealth marketing. We clarify it by adding #天馬PR when we post an advertisement.

Community Guideline


  1. Operated by Tenma Corporation
  2. Operation details: Dissemination of a variety of content that includes information related to the Company’s activities and products
  3. Hours when the Company replies: 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays
  4. Operation period: Not fixed. However, we may terminate the operation of the Accounts or delete them without prior notice. We also may delete posted content and comments.

Replies and responses to inquiries

  1. The Company may not reply to all comments or questions submitted to the Accounts.
  2. The Company handles personal information through Direct Messages (DM) for the purposes specified in the Company’s Privacy Policy, including shipping prizes to the winners of promotional campaigns in which customers participate. Please refer to the page below for details.
  3. The Company may send DMs for the purpose of requesting advertisements and other promotions. Please be mindful of fake accounts.
  4. The Company does not respond to inquiries or comments about the Company and the Company’s products through DMs. Please contact us through the Contact on Fits World, which is one of the Company’s websites.


The Company does not follow all users who follow the Accounts. In addition, the Company may follow users even if they do not follow the Accounts.

Matters that require attention

  1. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or utility of information provided by the Accounts.
  2. The Company is not responsible for comments posted by users.
  3. The Company is not responsible for any damage caused by users’ viewing or using the Accounts or users’ being unable to view or use the Accounts.
  4. The Company is not responsible for any damage incurred by a user or a third party and arising from issues occurring between the users or between the user and a third party in relation to the Accounts.
  5. In addition to the matters listed above, the Company is not responsible for any damage incurred by a user or a third party and arising from matters related to the Accounts.
  6. The copyright of content posted in relation to the Accounts is attributed to the user who posted the content. However, by posting the content, the user shall grant the Company the right to use all or any part of the content posted by the user (all rights to use copyrighted works, including reproduction, adaptation, translation, and transmission to the public) nonexclusively around the world without prior consent from the user or compensation to the user and shall agree not to exercise moral rights against the Company.

  8. The Accounts are operated using the SNS operation companies’ systems, and the Company cannot respond to inquiries regarding those systems. In addition, the Company cannot respond to questions on the functions, use, and technical matters of software and applications provided by SNS operation companies or third parties.
  9. The Company may revise the Guideline without prior notice. The revision history will be added at the bottom of the Guideline.

Promotional campaigns

  1. We conduct “product tester recruit campaigns,” “giveaway campaigns,” or “social media ambassador campaigns.” Please take part in each campaign upon agreeing to the application terms. By applying for a campaign, you agree to the application terms. Please cancel the application if you do not agree.
  2. We manage the personal information acquired to use for the purpose of shipping prizes to winners on Microsoft 365 Forms. We do not use personal information for any purpose other than shipping prizes or as described in the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Request for advertisements and other promotions

The Company may request advertisements and other promotions for the Company’s products through DMs based on the Company’s evaluation standards. We ask you not to accept the request if you do not agree to the secondary use of posted images or captions (comments) on the Company’s EC websites or online shopping websites or for promotional materials displayed in retails shops, such as home improvement stores.

Prohibited matters

Please refrain from the actions below when you use the Accounts to have better communication through the Accounts. If the user’s action falls under any of the following, we may block or unfollow the account.

  1. Acts that specify, disclose, or leak the personal information of another user or a third party without their consent
  2. Acts that cause damage to the Company, another user, or a third party
  3. Acts that falsify information provided through the Accounts
  4. Acts for commercial purposes through the Accounts or in relation to the Accounts without the Company’s approval
  5. Acts that infringe the copyrights and other intellectual property rights of the Company, another user, or a third party
  6. Acts that denounce or defame the Company, another user, or a third party or harm their honor or trust
  7. Acts that violate public order and morals or that provide information that violates public order and morals
  8. Election campaigns, religious activities, or similar acts
  9. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Accounts
  10. Other acts that fall under the improper acts specified by SNS operation companies
  11. Other acts that the Company deems inappropriate

Governing laws and jurisdiction

The Guideline is governed by Japanese law, and any disputes arising in relation to the Accounts shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
